Brandon Wu
Brandon Wu (born February 17, 1997) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He won the 2020 Korn Ferry Tour Championship. Amateur career Wu attended boarding school at Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts and was on the swim team through high school. He attended Stanford University 2015–2019 and played his college golf for the Stanford Cardinal men's golf team. In his senior year, they won the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship. Wu played in the 2019 Walker Cup and the 2019 Arnold Palmer Cup. He teamed with Stewart Hagestad, Emilia Migliaccio, and Rose Zhang to win the mixed team gold medal at the 2019 Pan American Games. Wu's individual achievements include winning the 2017 Porter Cup. He was a semifinalist at the 2018 Western Amateur and competed in U.S. Amateur in 2018 and again in 2019, where he was the stroke play medalist. Emilia Migliaccio (born April 25, 1999) is an American amateur golfer. In 2019, she won the gold medal in the women's individual event at the Pan American Games held in Lima, Peru. Genesis Scottish Open
The Genesis Scottish Open is a professional golf tournament in Scotland, and is one of five tournaments that are part of the Rolex Series, which identifies it as one of the European Tour's premier events. It has been played on various courses, but in recent years it has been played on a links course, appealing to players who wish to gain experience before the Open, which takes place in the following week. Since 1987 it has, together with John Deere Classic, been the last chance to qualify for The Open. It has been part of the Open Qualifying Series since that series started in 2014. The leading 3 players (4 in 2016) not already qualified, have received an entry to the Open. Puerto Rico Open
The Puerto Rico Open is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour that was first played in 2008. It is the only PGA Tour event ever held in Puerto Rico. The tournament is played at the Coco Beach Golf Course (previously Trump International Golf Club Puerto Rico) which was designed by Tom Kite. From its inception through 2015, it was played in early March as an alternate event to the WGC-Cadillac Championship, but in 2016 it moved to late March, opposite the WGC-Dell Match Play. All four rounds are broadcast on the Golf Channel. The winner of the Puerto Rico Open earns 300 FedEx Cup points and 24 OWGR points, compared to 550 FedEx Cup and 70-80 OWGR points for World Golf Championships. The 2019 Open Championship was the 148th Open Championship, played at Royal Portrush Golf Club in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It was the second Open Championship at Portrush, which last hosted in 1951, won by Max Faulkner. The Western Amateur is a leading annual golf tournament in the United States for male amateur golfers. It is organized by the Western Golf Association.
