Brandon Washington
Brandon Washington (born August 13, 1988) is a former American football offensive tackle and current coach. He has played for the Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL), the St. Louis Rams and Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). Brandon was selected in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Miami. College career At the University of Miami, Washington was an All- ACC selection as a sophomore in 2010. On December 16, 2011, Washington announced that he would forgo his senior season and enter the 2012 NFL Draft. Professional career Philadlephia Eagles Washington was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round (200th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft. The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) is a collegiate athletic conference located in the eastern United States. Herb Hand
Herb Hand (born January 5, 1968) is an American football coach who is currently the co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at the University of Central Florida. Prior to that, he was the co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at the University of Texas at Austin. Playing career Hand was a three-year starter at Hamilton College, where he played offensive line. A team captain his senior season, Hand earned All-NESCAC honors in 1989. He graduated from Hamilton in 1990 with a degree in history. Coaching career Hand began his coaching career at West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1991 as a defensive graduate assistant, spending three seasons in that role. He earned his MBA from West Virginia Wesleyan in 1993. Hand has also spent time as the defensive coordinator at Glenville State from 1994 to 1996 under Rich Rodriguez and at Concord College in Athens, West Virginia. The National Arena League (NAL) is a professional indoor football league that began play in 2017. It consists of teams based on the East Coast of the United States. Teams' typical payroll budget is $600,000 per season, while players are paid $200 per week, and veterans can make $225 with the potential raises for loyalty on a year-by-year basis. 2018 CFL Season
The 2018 CFL season was the 65th season of modern-day Canadian football. Officially, it was the 61st Canadian Football League season. Edmonton hosted the 106th Grey Cup on November 25, 2018. The CFL announced that this season will move to a 21-week regular season (previously a 20-week season) to increase player rest time and reduce short turnaround-times for games. Given the change, the regular season began on June 14, 2018, one week earlier than usual, and concluded on November 3, 2018.
