Brandon Wakeling
Brandon Dean Wakeling (born 2 February 1994) is an Australian weightlifter. He won the gold medal in the men's 73 kg event at the 2019 Pacific Games held in Apia, Samoa. He represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He also represented Australia at the Commonwealth Games in 2018 and 2022. Career In 2017, Wakeling won the silver medal in the men's 69kg event at the Oceania Weightlifting Championships held in Gold Coast, Australia. In the same month, he also competed in the men's 69kg event at the 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. He finished in 8th place. He represented Australia at the 2018 Commonwealth Games held in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia and he competed in the men's 69kg event. He finished in 7th place. Campbelltown, New South Wales
Campbelltown is a suburb located on the outskirts of the metropolitan area of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is located in Greater Western Sydney south-west of the Sydney central business district by road. Campbelltown is the administrative seat of the local government area of the City of Campbelltown. 2018 Commonwealth Games
The 2018 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXI Commonwealth Games and also known as Gold Coast 2018, was an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth that were held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, between 4 and 15 April 2018. Griffith University
Griffith University is a public research university in South East Queensland on the east coast of Australia. Formally founded in 1971, Griffith opened its doors in 1975, introducing Australia's first degrees in environmental science and Asian studies. 2022 Commonwealth Games
The 2022 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXII Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Birmingham 2022, was an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth of Nations that took place in Birmingham, England between 28 July and 8 August 2022.
