Brandon Thomas (footballer)
Brandon Thomas Llamas (born 4 February 1995), known simply as Brandon, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a forward for Greek Super League club PAOK. He played nine La Liga games for Mallorca and Osasuna but spent most of his career in the Segunda División, playing 163 games and scoring 35 goals for those two teams as well as Girona, Leganés and Málaga. He also had spells in Ligue 1 with Rennes and in Super League Greece with PAOK. Albert Ferrer Llopis (; born 6 June 1970) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a right back, and was also a coach. Having represented local team Barcelona for almost a decade, he went on to appear for England's Chelsea until his retirement. During his spell in his home country he was nicknamed ''Chapi'', and appeared in a total of 221 La Liga matches over nine seasons. Alejandro Alfaro Ligero (born 23 November 1986) is a Spanish former professional footballer, and current scout of CA Osasuna. Mainly a right winger, he could also operate as a second striker. Substitute (association Football)
In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time.
