Brandon McReynolds
Lawrence Brandon McReynolds (born May 21, 1991) is an American professional stock car racing driver and the spotter for Ross Chastain and the No. 1 Trackhouse Racing Team in the NASCAR Cup Series. As a driver, he has competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for JGL Racing, and has also competed in the K&N Pro Series East and West as well as the ARCA Menards Series. He is the son of ''NASCAR on Fox'' analyst and former crew chief Larry McReynolds. Racing career UARA-STARS Series The one notable event from McReynolds' UARA-Stars tenure was the 2009 Bailey's 300 at Martinsville Speedway. Jake Crum won the race, with McReynolds finishing second. Mooresville is a large town located in the southwestern section of Iredell County, North Carolina, United States, and is a part of the fast-growing Charlotte metropolitan area. The NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) is a stock car racing series organized by NASCAR. It is promoted as NASCAR's second-tier circuit to the organization's top level Cup Series. Derek K. Kraus (born September 1, 2001) is an American professional stock car racing driver who competed full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 19 Chevrolet Silverado for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, and is the only series in NASCAR to race production pickup truck based stock cars. The team is based in Mooresville, North Carolina, and is owned by former crew chief Tommy Baldwin Jr., son of the late modified driver Tom Baldwin. Christopher Jake Crum (born September 25, 1991) is an American professional stock car racing driver. Racing career Through 2006, Crum captured multiple National Championships through the WKA, IKF, and INEX organizations. In 2007, Crum became the youngest driver to win a UARA-Stars Late Model Touring Series event at the age of 15. In 2008, Crum set the bar one notch higher by clinching the UARA-Stars Championship driving for the family-owned operation. Economic pressures forced Crum to run a partial schedule in 2009. Martinsville Speedway
Martinsville Speedway is a NASCAR-owned stock car racing short track in Ridgeway, Virginia, just south of Martinsville. At in length, it is the shortest track in the NASCAR Cup Series. The track was also one of the first paved oval tracks in stock car racing, being built in 1947 by partners H. Clay Earles, Henry Lawrence, and Sam Rice, nearly a year before NASCAR was officially formed. It is also the only race track that has been on the NASCAR circuit from its beginning in 1948. Along with this, Martinsville is the only oval track on the NASCAR circuit to have asphalt surfaces on the straightaways and concrete to cover the turns. The Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) is an auto racing sanctioning body in the United States, founded in 1953 by John Marcum. The current president of ARCA is Ron Drager, who took over the position in 1996 following the death of Bob Loga. Lawrence Joseph McReynolds III (born January 10, 1959) is a current NASCAR crew chief and current racing analyst on Fox Sports as well as a columnist on Foxsports.com. In the past, he has served as an advisor to Petty Enterprises, and as a minority owner in Bang! Racing. Career NASCAR crew chief McReynolds was born in Birmingham, Alabama. Larry is an only child. The ARCA Menards Series is an American stock car series, the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). It is considered a minor, semi-professional league of stock car racing, used as a feeder series into the three national touring series of NASCAR, and hosts events at a variety of track types including superspeedways, road courses, and dirt tracks.
