Brandon Dunn
Brandon Dunn (born September 5, 1992) is an American football nose tackle who is a free agent. He played college football at the University of Louisville. He has also been a member of the Chicago Bears and the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). Early years Dunn played high school football at Pleasure Ridge Park High School in Louisville, Kentucky, where he was a three-year starter and team captain. He was the team's Most Valuable Player and best offensive lineman in 2009. Dunn was also the team's top defensive lineman in 2008. He recorded 65 tackles and 16 sacks as a senior, including 30 solo tackles. He also recorded 50 tackles and 16 sacks his junior year. College career Dunn played for the Louisville Cardinals from 2010 to 2013. He played in 49 games for the Cardinals, starting 30. Nose Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach.
