Brandon Dixon (American Football)
Brandon Dixon (born April 26, 1990) is a former American football cornerback. He was selected by the New York Jets in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Northwest Missouri State. Dixon was also a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks, Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants and Orlando Apollos. A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Cornerbacks cover receivers most of the time, but also blitz and defend against such offensive running plays as sweeps and reverses. They create turnovers through hard tackles, interceptions, and deflecting forward passes. Other members of the defensive backfield include strong and free safeties. Benjamin Lee Sapp, II (born January 20, 1981) is a former American football cornerback. He was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played college football at Northern Iowa. Sapp also played for the Miami Dolphins and the Minnesota Vikings.
