Brandon Bays
Brandon Bays (born August 21, 1953) is an American author and motivational speaker. She has authored New Thought self-help books, and is best known for her 1999 book, ''The Journey'', which became a bestseller in England and Australia. She was born in New York City to an American father and a Romanian mother, who grew up in Vienna, Austria. ''The Journey'' The Journey is the title of Brandon's first book, The Journey (1999 and 2012). The Journey book has been translated into 23 languages. The book describes her experience of healing from a basketball-sized tumour, without drugs or surgery, in 6 weeks. Self-enquiry, also spelled self-inquiry (Sanskrit ''vichara'', also called '' jnana-vichara'' or '), is the constant attention to the inner awareness of "I" or "I am" recommended by Ramana Maharshi as the most efficient and direct way of discovering the unreality of the "I"-thought.
