Branden Pinder
Branden Henry Pinder (born January 26, 1989) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball for the New York Yankees in 2015 and 2016. Career Amateur and Minors Pinder played college baseball at Santa Ana College and Long Beach State University. He was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 16th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft. He made his professional debut for the Staten Island Yankees that season. In 31 innings over 24 games, he was 2–2 with a 1.16 earned run average (ERA), 14 saves and 38 strikeouts. Pinder played 2012 with the Tampa Yankees and pitched in one game for the Trenton Thunder. 2015 New York Yankees Season
The 2015 New York Yankees season was the 113th for the New York Yankees, who play in the American League East of Major League Baseball. They finished the regular season with a record of 87–75, six games behind the Toronto Blue Jays and second in the AL East. In baseball or softball, a strikeout (or strike-out) occurs when a batter accumulates three strikes during a time at bat. It usually means that the batter is out. Ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction, colloquially known as Tommy John surgery (TJS), is a surgical graft procedure where the ulnar collateral ligament in the medial elbow is replaced with either a tendon from elsewhere in the patient's body, or with one from a deceased donor. Jacob Daniel Brigham (born February 10, 1988) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Wei Chuan Dragons of the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL). Jacob Stephen Lindgren (born March 12, 1993) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees in 2015. He played college baseball for Mississippi State University. Amateur career Lindgren attended Saint Stanislaus College in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Disabled List
In Major League Baseball (MLB), the injured list (IL) is a method for teams to remove their injured players from the roster in order to summon healthy players. Before the 2019 season, it was known as the disabled list (DL). General guidelines Players are placed on the 10-day/15-day injured list or the 60-day injured list, usually depending on the severity and/or recovery time of the injury. By rule, position players must spend a minimum of 10 days on the injured list while pitchers must spend a minimum of 15 days on the IL. The 15-day period was the standard for all players prior to 2017 when the period was shortened to 10 days. The minimum period was restored to 15 days for pitchers for the 2020 season, though the full implementation of the rule was pushed back to May 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Christopher Riley Martin (born June 2, 1986) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB).
