Branden Becker
Branden Becker (born September 13, 1996) is an American former professional baseball infielder. He was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 17th round of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft. He is currently a minor league coach in the Orioles organization. Professional career Branden attended Cajon High School in San Bernardino, California. He played shortstop and was also a pitcher as a member of the varsity baseball team for all four of his years at Cajon. In Branden's last seasons, his record was 23-4 overall. Becker signed a letter of intent to attend the University of Oregon. The Orioles drafted Becker with the 523rd overall pick in the 17th round of the 2015 MLB Draft. He signed with the Orioles on June 11, 2015. He was assigned to the GCL Orioles, where he would spend the 2015 season and hit .219/.298/.238. Infielder
An infielder is a baseball player stationed at one of four defensive "infield" positions on the baseball field. Standard arrangement of positions In a game of baseball, two teams of nine players take turns playing offensive and defensive roles. Although there are many rules to baseball, in general the team playing offense tries to score runs by batting balls into the field that enable runners to make a complete circuit of the four bases. The Delmarva Shorebirds are a Minor League Baseball team based in Salisbury, Maryland. They are members of the Carolina League and the Single-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. The Aberdeen IronBirds are a Minor League Baseball team based in the city of Aberdeen in Harford County, Maryland. They are the High-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles and compete in the South Atlantic League. The Frederick Keys are a collegiate summer baseball team of the MLB Draft League. The Keys are based in Frederick, Maryland. The franchise is named for "Star-Spangled Banner" writer Francis Scott Key, a native of Frederick County. The Florida Complex League Orioles are a Rookie-level affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, competing in the Florida Complex League of Minor League Baseball. Before 2021, the team was known as the Gulf Coast League Orioles. The team plays its home games in Sarasota, Florida, at Ed Smith Stadium, which became the spring training home to the major-league Orioles at the start of the 2010 season.
