Brand-new Idol Society 2
''Brand-new idol Society 2'' is the fourth album by Japanese idol group Bis. It was released through the independent label Tsubasa Records on November 16, 2016. The album is the first physical release by the group after their reformation in 2016, and features a brand-new lineup of members. The album consists of re-recorded versions of tracks from the group's independent label days, together with five new songs. An early version of the song "BisBis" featuring only Pour Lui was released as a free download on July 8, 2016, the day the group's reformation was announced. The album version of the track has been re-recorded with the new members. All of the album's tracks were released on Soundcloud prior to the album's release, with the exception of "Change the World" which was released as a music video on YouTube. Bis (Japanese Idol Group)
Bis (stylized as BiS), also known as , is a Japanese alternative idol girl group that was founded in 2010 by leader Pour Lui following a brief solo career. With music, performances and videos that are extremely different from the typical idol group, Bis have come to be known as alternative idols. They disbanded at Yokohama Arena on July 8, 2014. Exactly two years after their disbandment on July 8, 2016, it was announced by Pour Lui, Kenta Matsukuma and Junnosuke Watanabe that Bis would reform under a new lineup including Pour Lui, and that auditions were going to be held. On March 30, 2019, Bis announced that they would break up at the end of their "Are You Ready To Go?" tour. Pop Punk
Pop punk (or punk pop) is a rock music genre that combines elements of punk rock with power pop or pop. Alternative rock (also known as alternative music, alt-rock or simply alternative) is a category of rock music that evolved from the independent music underground of the 1970s. is the first and only "Best-of" album released by Japanese idol group BiS. The album contains tracks spanning the group's career, and all tracks that were originally released under an earlier lineup have been re-recorded by the 2014 lineup. The instrumental parts for most of the songs have also been re-recorded. The album contains one completely new song (Tada Naite), which is also the last song released by BiS before their initial disbandment. This album is the last CD release by the group before their disbandment. Pour Lui
is a Japanese singer known for her work as the founder and leader of the alternative idol group Bis (Japanese idol group), Bis. Pour Lui started her career in November 2009 as a solo singer, being promoted as a "new age rock icon". She released her debut album, ''The World Is Pour Lui's'' in 2010. She announced that she would be indefinitely suspending her solo career, and would be forming an idol group, which would eventually become Bis. She was one of only two original members remaining by the time Bis disbanded in July 2014. She was often seen as the "face" of the group, and was often supportive of the sometimes drastic and extreme measures that were used to gain the group publicity.
