The Branch River is an long river located in eastern New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Salmon Falls River, part of the Piscataqua River watershed leading to the Atlantic Ocean. The river begins at the outlet of Lovell Lake at Sanbornville, a village in the town of Wakefield, New Hampshire. The river turns south, paralleling New Hampshire Route 16, passes through the village of Union, and turns southeast to reach the Salmon Falls River in Northeast Pond, within the town of Milton. Union, New Hampshire
Union is a village and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Wakefield, Carroll County, New Hampshire, United States. It had a population of 196 at the 2020 census. Union has a separate ZIP code (03887) from the rest of the town of Wakefield. Geography Union is in the southern corner of the town of Wakefield, along the Branch River, a tributary of the Salmon Falls River. It is bordered to the west by the town of Middleton and to the southeast by the town of Milton, both in Strafford County. New Hampshire Route 16 forms the northeastern edge of the CDP; the highway leads north to Ossipee and south to Rochester. New Hampshire Route 153 passes through the northern part of the village, leading north to Sanbornville and southwest to Farmington. Jones Brook
Jones Brook is a stream in eastern New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Branch River, which leads to the Salmon Falls River, part of the Piscataqua River watershed leading to the Atlantic Ocean. Jones Brook rises in the Moose Mountains, on the border between Brookfield and Middleton, New Hampshire, and flows southeast through Middleton. New Hampshire Route 16
New Hampshire Route 16 (NH 16) is a , north–south state highway in New Hampshire, United States, the main road connecting the Seacoast region to the Lakes Region and the White Mountains. Much of its length is close to the border with Maine. The section from Portsmouth to Milton is a controlled-access toll highway known as the Spaulding Turnpike. Between Milton and Chocorua, and between Conway and Glen, it is known as the White Mountain Highway. The Piscataqua River (Abenaki: ''Pskehtekwis'') is a tidal river forming the boundary of the U.S. states of New Hampshire and Maine from its origin at the confluence of the Salmon Falls River and Cochecho River. Northeast Pond
Northeast Pond is a water body located along the border between Strafford County, New Hampshire, and York County, Maine, in the northeastern United States. The lake lies in the towns of Milton, New Hampshire, and Lebanon, Maine. It connects with Milton Pond to the south, whose outlet is the Salmon Falls River.
