Brenda Louise Romero (née Garno, born October 12, 1966), previously known as Brenda Brathwaite, is an American game designer and developer in the video game industry. She was born in Ogdensburg, New York and is a graduate of Clarkson University. Romero is best known for her work on the ''Wizardry'' series of role-playing video games and, more recently, the non-digital series ''The Mechanic is the Message''. She has worked in game development since 1981 and has credits on 49 game titles. For ''Wizardry'', Romero provided game design, level design, system design, writing and scripting. Gregory O'Brian Brathwaite (born 9 December 1969) is a cricket umpire from Barbados. His One Day International (ODI) umpiring debut was on 7 August 2011, in a match between Canada and Afghanistan in the 2011–13 ICC World Cricket League Championship. He officiated in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between the West Indies and Australia, on 27 March 2012. He is a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) International Panel of Umpires and Referees representing the West Indies. Fred Brathwaite
Fredrick Brathwaite (born November 24, 1972) is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former player. Brathwaite played as a goaltender, and spent his career with the Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, St. Louis Blues and Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL before finishing his career overseas with Ak Bars Kazan, Avangard Omsk and Adler Mannheim. Brathwaite was named Deutsche Eishockey Liga MVP in 2009. Errol Freeman Brathwaite (3 April 1924 – 4 December 2005) was a New Zealand author. Biography Born in Waipukurau in 1924, Brathwaite was educated at Timaru Boys' High School. He served in the Royal New Zealand Air Force as an air gunner in the Pacific in the latter part of World War II. He married Alison Whyte at St John's Church, Latimer Square, in Christchurch on 20 March 1948 and after a period in the army he began working in advertising. In 1959, Brathwaite wrote his first book, ''Fear in the Night'', a novel set in the Pacific during the Second World War, in which a New Zealand air crew try to repair their bomber and get it airborne again before an approaching Japanese patrol arrives. He became a full-time writer. Career Braithwaite started out working on British comics, like '' 2000 AD'' and '' A1'', but is best known for his Marvel Comics work on the ''Earth X'' sequels, ''Universe X'' and ''Paradise X'' (with Alex Ross and Jim Krueger), as well as for ''The Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe'' and '' Punisher: MAX'' #13–18, with Garth Ennis. Daryl Braithwaite (born 11 January 1949) is an Australian singer. He was the lead vocalist of Sherbet (1970–1984 and many subsequent reunions). Braithwaite also has a solo career, placing 15 singles in the Australian top 40, including two number-one hits: "You're My World" (October 1974) and "The Horses" (January 1991). Darren Braithwaite (born 20 January 1969) is a retired British sprinter. Braithwaite was a member of the British team which set a world indoor record for the rarely contested 4×200 metres relay on 3 March 1991 in Glasgow. Braithwaite and his teammates Linford Christie, Ade Mafe and John Regis ran a time of 1:22.11, which has yet to be bettered. Braithwaite won a bronze medal in the 4×100 metres relay event at the 1991 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo (together with Tony Jarrett, John Regis and Linford Christie). He repeated this achievement at the 1997 World Athletics Championships in Athens (together with Darren Campbell, Douglas Walker and Julian Golding).
