Brady Malam (born 14 March 1973) is a New Zealand former rugby league footballer. His preferred position was at . Early years A junior from the Glenora club, Malam played for Auckland at before bulking up and moving to in his late teens. He played for the Junior Kiwis in 1992 and 1993. Glenora Bears
The Glenora Bears are a rugby league football club based in Glen Eden, New Zealand who compete in Auckland Rugby League's Fox Memorial competition. History The club was established in 1931 Auckland Rugby League season, 1931 when the Auckland Rugby League Junior Management Committee accepted their application for membership in June of that year whereby they would enter a team in the Third Grade intermediate competition. Clubs had previously existed in the Glen Eden and New Lynn areas and played under those names. Glenora lost their first ever match versus Akarana 0–16 at Glen Eden. Super League
The Super League (officially known as the Betfred Super League due to sponsorship from Betfred and legally known as Super League Europe), is the top-level of the British rugby league system. At present the league consists of twelve teams, of which eleven are from Northern England, reflecting the sport's geographic heartland within the UK, and one from southern France. The Super League began in 1996, replacing the existing Rugby Football League Championship First Division, First Division and, significantly, switching from a traditional winter season to a summer season.
