Brady Hjelle
Brady Hjelle (born May 3, 1990) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Stjernen Hockey of the Norwegian GET-ligaen. Hjelle played college hockey with the Ohio State Buckeyes in the NCAA Men's Division I CCHA conference. In his senior year, Hjelle's outstanding play was rewarded with a selection to the 2012–13 CCHA All-Conference First Team. Hjelle made his professional debut in the playoffs of the 2012–13 season with the Florida Everblades. On May 18, 2013, Hjelle signed a contract with Norwegian-based club, Rosenborg IHK of the GET-ligaen. After the 2013–14 season, Hjelle signed a tryout contract with Tappara of the Liiga in Finland. However, on August 20, 2014, the team announced that Hjelle had been cut. Stjernen Hockey
Stjernen Hockey is a Norwegian ice hockey team based in Fredrikstad, Norway. They currently play in the GET-ligaen. They play their home games in Stjernehallen. Their team colours are red and white. History Stjernen was founded in 1960 when the boys club "the Star" simply translated their name to Norwegian to comply with the rules of the association to begin play in the league system. After ten years of playing on an outdoor rink, or hiring ice time from local rivals Sparta Warriors, Stjernen got their own arena in 1970 when Stjernehallen was officially opened. With a good youth organisation to go with the new facilities, Stjernen soon started to climb in the leagues and in 1974 they reached the first division for the first time in club history. Perani Cup Champions
The Perani Cup was an annual award given out at the conclusion of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association regular season to the player who finished with the most 'stars-of-the-game' points in CCHA play. While each school named a Perani Cup Champion, the official CCHA winner was the player who had the highest point total amongst all conference teams. points were calculated as 5 for a number one star, 3 for a number two star, and 1 for a number three star. Any player on the game roster was eligible to be star and only games between CCHA opponents would be counted towards the Perani Cup Standings. Reilly Smith (born April 1, 1991) is a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger and alternate captain for the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League (NHL). Growing up in Toronto, Smith played junior hockey with St. Michael's College School before playing three seasons of NCAA Division I collegiate hockey with the Miami University's RedHawks in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA). Connor Knapp (born May 1, 1990) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender. Knapp was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the 6th round (164th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and played two games in the NHL, both for the Sabres in 2014. Playing career Knapp won the State Championship in 2005 with McQuaid Jesuit High School, which he attended for his freshman and sophomore year.
