Braden Gellenthien
Braden Gellenthien (born 26 April 1986 in Boston), is an athlete from the United States who competes in compound archery. He is a former world number one archer and has won individual gold medals at the FITA Archery World Cup, Indoor World Championships and Arizona Cup, and team gold medals at the World Archery Championships. He won the 2021 Athlete of the Year award by World Archery Americas in the compound men category. 2019 Pan American Games
The 2019 Pan American Games ( es, Juegos Panamericanos de 2019, links=no), officially the XVIII Pan American Games and commonly known as the Lima 2019 Pan-Am Games or Lima 2019 ( qu, Limaq 2019), were a multi-sport event governed by the Panam Sports Organization, were held in Lima, Peru from July 26 to August 11, 2019, with preliminary rounds in certain events having begun on July 24, 2019. These were the first Pan American Games to be held in Peru, and the seventh to be held in South America. The opening ceremony took place on July 26 at the National Stadium, and the Games were declared open by former Peruvian President Martín Vizcarra. Tanja Gellenthien ( Jensen) is a Danish archer who competes in women's compound events. She won the gold medal in the women's individual compound event at the 2021 European Archery Championships in Antalya, Turkey. Gellenthien and Stephan Hansen won the gold medal in the mixed team compound event at the 2022 European Archery Championships held in Munich, Germany. She represented Denmark at the 2022 World Games held in Birmingham, United States. In 2023, she won the women's championship title in the compound division of The Vegas Shoot, a prominent target competition organized by the National Field Archery Association after finishing second in the same event in 2022. The 2022 World Games were an international multi-sport event held from July 7 to 17, 2022, in Birmingham, Alabama, United States. They were the 11th World Games, a multi-sport event featuring disciplines of Olympic sports and other competitions that are not currently contested at the Olympic Games; the Games featured 3,600 athletes competing in 206 medal events over 30 sports. The World Archery Rankings is a ranking system developed by the World Archery Federation for international competitive archery.
