Brad Shultz
Donald Bradley Shultz Jr. (born May 15, 1982) is the rhythm guitarist and one of the founding members of the band Cage the Elephant, and is also a record producer. Born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, he now resides in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife and two children. He is the older brother to current Cage the Elephant bandmate, Matt Shultz. In music performances, rhythm guitar is a technique and role that performs a combination of two functions: to provide all or part of the rhythmic pulse in conjunction with other instruments from the rhythm section (e.g., drum kit, bass guitar); and to provide all or part of the harmony, i.e. the chords from a song's chord progression, where a chord is a group of notes played together. ''Future Deep'' is Juliette Lewis's first non-single release since the 2009 album ''Terra Incognita''. ''Future Deep'' could be considered a culmination of everything Lewis has been doing musically over a seven-year period (2009-2016). "Any Way You Want" was previously released as a single in September 2016. The same is true of the EP's fifth track, "Hello Hero", which was released in April 2016. Lewis added five new songs. ''Cage the Elephant'' is the debut studio album by American rock band Cage the Elephant. The album was produced by Jay Joyce and released on June 23, 2008, in Europe by Relentless Records, and on March 24, 2009, in the United States by RCA/Jive Label Group. It was certified platinum by the RIAA and spawned four singles. Chart performance ''Cage the Elephant'' debuted on the UK Albums Chart at number 38 in its week of release, and debuted at number 171 on the ''Billboard'' 200, later rising to number 67. Jared Lloyd Champion (born February 27, 1983) is the drummer for American rock band Cage the Elephant. Early life and career Champion was born and raised in Bowling Green, Kentucky. In high school, Champion, with current bandmate Matt Shultz, were in a cover band called Liquid Twilight. Champion needed a singer for the cover band, so Shultz agreed to do it. It is unknown when they broke up. However, Champion and Shultz left Liquid Twilight because they wanted to write original music. After Liquid Twilight came to an end, Champion—along with Matt and Brad Shultz—were in a band that formed in 2001 called Perfect Confusion, which also included members Thomas Bullen (lead guitar)–who later joined Bowling Green band Sleeper Agent–and David Kem (bass). Cage the Elephant is an American rock band formed in 2006 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. They moved to England, U.K. and settled in London in 2008, shortly before their self-titled first album was released. The band currently consists of Matt Shultz (vocals), his older brother Brad Shultz (rhythm guitar), Nick Bockrath (lead guitar), Matthan Minster (guitar, keyboards), Daniel Tichenor (bass), and Jared Champion (drums).
