Brad Hoover
Bradley R. Hoover (born November 11, 1976) is a former American football fullback. He was signed by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2000. He played college football at Western Carolina. Early years Hoover was a Shrine Bowl participant and an all-state selection at Ledford Senior High School in Thomasville, North Carolina. He led the state with 2,662 yards rushing and scored 34 touchdowns as a senior. He earned Davidson County, North Carolina and Central Carolina Conference Player of the Year honors. College career Hoover made a big impact at Western Carolina University being second all-time in school history in career yards. The 2000 NFL Draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur U.S. college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 15– 16, 2000, at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. No teams chose to claim any players in the supplemental draft that year. Cannon School is an independent, nonsectarian, college preparatory institution serving students in junior kindergarten through grade 12. Stephen Lamont Davis (born March 1, 1974) is a former American football running back who played 11 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Early years A native of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Davis attended Spartanburg High School, where he excelled in football and track. At the 1991 South Carolina state meet, he set a state record in the 100 metres with 10.40 seconds. His record stood for 17 years, until Marcus Rowland ran a 10.35 at the 2008 state meet. The 2002 NFL season was the 83rd regular season of the National Football League. The league went back to an even number of teams with the addition of the Houston Texans; the league has remained static with 32 teams since. Fred Lane (American Football)
Freddie Brown Lane Jr. (September 6, 1975 – July 6, 2000) was an American football running back who played professionally in the National Football League for the Carolina Panthers. Early life Lane was born and raised in Franklin, Tennessee. His father, Fred Lane Sr., was a star at the old Natchez High School, which later desegregated with Franklin High. Attending Franklin Junior High School, it was noticed that Lane possessed uncommon speed and agility for such a young player.
