Brachyacma Palpigera
''Mesophleps palpigera'' is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It is found in Ivory Coast, Niger, Nigeria, Zaire, Uganda, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Madagascar and South Africa. Records from outside of Africa are based on misidentifications. The wingspan is 9–15.5 mm. The forewings are yellowish brown to light ochreous brown. Moths are a paraphyletic group of insects that includes all members of the order Lepidoptera that are not butterflies, with moths making up the vast majority of the order.
