Boye Christian Riis Strøm (18 June 1847 – 1930) was a Norwegian statistician and civil servant. He was born in Grue, and graduated with the cand.jur. degree in 1870. Grue is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Solør. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Kirkenær. Other villages in the municipality include Bergesida, Grinder, Namnå, Risberget, Rotberget, Skasenden, and Svullrya. The municipality is the 136th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Grue is the 189th most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 4,548. The municipality's population density is and its population has decreased by 9.1% over the previous 10-year period. Christian Collett Kjerschow
Christian Collett Hersleb Kjerschow (23 August 1821 – 10 April 1889) was a Norwegian politician. He was born in Aker as the oldest son of bishop Peder Christian Hersleb Kjerschow (1786–1866) and his wife Johanne Benedicte Collett (1802–1851). His younger sister Caroline Sophie Erasmine Kjerschow married businessman Jacob Andreas Michelsen, and was the mother of Christian Michelsen. Christian Kjerschow was also a maternal grandson of mining director Christian Ancher Collett. Christian Collett Kjerschow married Nancy Adelaide Esbensen. They had several children. In the 1902 census his family were registered with two servants. Their sons Peder and Karald and grandson Arild all became jurists.
