Junior Senior
Junior Senior were a Danish pop duo. The duo consisted of Jesper "Junior" Mortensen (vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass guitar, drums, percussion) (born 7 February 1977) and Jeppe "Senior" Laursen (vocals, programming) (born 25 December 1975). They were well known for their 2002 single " Move Your Feet", which gained worldwide success in 2003, most notably in the United Kingdom. History Early career Junior Senior formed in 1998 when Jesper Mortensen and Jeppe Laursen got back together after their previous band Ludo-X broke up in 1995. Crunchy Frog is an independent record label, established in 1994 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The label is owned by the four members of Thau (band), Thau. The daily operations are handled by Jesper "Yebo" Reginal Petersen, drummer of Thau (later: Tothe International,) The Tremolo Beer Gut, Psyched Up Janis, Trains and Boats and Planes, Heavy Trash and Junior Senior. Originally released in March 2002 in Denmark, an altered edition became available later in the year for the rest of continental Europe, and in 2003, the album was released in both the UK and US. It is most widely known for the song " Move Your Feet", the duo's first and most successful single. The United States release of the album received the Parental Advisory rating on its release. The album received positive reviews from music critics upon release. ''Hey Hey My My Yo Yo'' is the second and final album by Danish pop duo Junior Senior, released in Japan and parts of Europe in 2005. It was released in Australia on 9 April 2007. The album was released on 14 August 2007 in the United States and packaged with a bonus EP. Release ''Hey Hey My My Yo Yo'' was released in Japan and Scandinavia in 2005. ''Hey Hey My My Yo Yo'' was successful in Japan, charting at number two on the Japanese music charts. The American version of the album was released by Rykodisc Records on 14 August 2007. This release of the album included a seven-song bonus EP. In 2007, ''Hey Hey My My Yo Yo'' peaked at number five on the ''Billboard'' Top Electronic Albums chart.
