Boy Krazy (album)
''Boy Krazy'' is the self-titled debut of girl group Boy Krazy. This was the only album the group made. It was produced by Mike Stock (musician), Mike Stock and Pete Waterman, except "That's What Love Can Do" and "Good Times with Bad Boys", which are a Stock Aitken & Waterman production. Each member sings the lead vocals on at least two songs on the album. The album includes their biggest hit "That's What Love Can Do", as well as the singles "All You Have to Do" and "Good Times With Bad Boys". A planned fourth single, "Love is a Freaky Thing", was never released as Johnna Cummings left the band in late 1993. The album was released in North America first, and then through Europe and Asia. The American releases feature a guitar-driven version of the album track "On a Wing and a Prayer", whereas the European and Asian releases feature a mix more similar to Stock, Aitken & Waterman's typical Europop. Peter Alan Waterman, (born 15 January 1947) is an English record producer, songwriter, radio and club DJ, television presenter, president of Coventry Bears rugby league club and a keen railway enthusiast. As a member of the Stock Aitken Waterman songwriting team, he wrote and produced many hit singles. He is the owner of significant collections of both historic and commercial railway locomotives and rolling stock. Early life Peter Alan Waterman was born in Stoke Heath, Coventry, Warwickshire. He was educated at Whitley Abbey Comprehensive School until he left in 1962 to work for British Railways. He became a steam locomotive fireman based at Wolverhampton (Stafford Road) depot. Michael Stock (born 3 December 1951) is an English songwriter, record producer, musician, and member of the songwriting and production trio Stock Aitken Waterman. He has written and/or produced 18 No. 1 records in America and the UK, over a hundred top-40 hits and is recognised as one of the most successful songwriters of all time by the ''Guinness Book of Records''. Boy Krazy was a New York City-based girl group that saw brief fame in 1991, and again in 1993 with their hit single "That's What Love Can Do". Career The group was put together through auditions by a management company in New York. Boy Krazy featured female singers Kimberly Blake, Josselyne Jones, Johnna Lee Cummings, Renée Veneziale, and Ruth Ann Roberts (a former Miss Junior America). Their signature pop song "That's What Love Can Do", written and produced by British mega music trio Stock Aitken Waterman, was released in 1991, but it failed to become a hit. Shortly after the release of the single, Veneziale left the band. Carrying on as a foursome, the group released their second single " All You Have to Do" in 1992, but it also failed to chart.
