The Boxing Tournament at the 1990 Asian Games was held in Beijing Institute of Physical Education, Beijing, China from September 25 to October 3, 1990. South Korea finished first in medal table by winning five gold medals. Thailand was second with two gold medals, China, Pakistan, Philippines, Indonesia and Syria won the remaining gold medals. Arlo Chavez is a Filipino boxer who competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics. He is a gold medalist in the Asian Amateur Boxing Championships and is the most successful Filipino boxer in the Southeast Asian Games with four gold medals. Personal life Arlo Chavez was born on August 1, 1966 in Bantayan Island in Cebu. Leopoldo Cantancio (July 6, 1963 – April 20, 2018) was a Filipino boxer who competed for his native country at the 1984 Summer Olympics and 1988 Summer Olympics.
