Bowls Premier League
The Bowls Premier League (BPL) is a biannual bowls competition involving teams from around Australia. The competition was founded in 2013 as a way to popularise the sport by presenting in a modernised format, using the term "made-for-television" in its promotion. The competition features faster play, modified rules, colourful clothing and comprehensive television coverage. The BPL was founded by Bowls Australia and was initially contested by teams from the five major Australian cities plus a New Zealand side and has since expanded to 10 clubs. The week-long event attracts a large number of Australia's best bowls players to compete, as well as several high-profile bowlers from overseas. Fox Sports Australia Pty Limited (formerly Premier Media Group Pty Limited) is the division of Foxtel that owns and operates the Fox Sports television networks and digital properties in Australia. The group operates nine Fox Sports Channels as well as Fox Sports News, Fox Cricket, Fox League, Fox Footy, Watch AFL and Watch NRL. Fox Sports channels are available via Foxtel or Kayo. North Shore Events Centre
The Eventfinda Stadium (originally known as the North Shore Events Centre) is an indoor arena located in the North Shore City suburb of Wairau Valley, Auckland, New Zealand. The arena opened in 1992 and has a capacity of 4,179. It primarily hosts community events and was previously the home arena of the New Zealand Breakers, who play in the Australian NBL. It also hosts concerts, expos, trade shows, conferences, netball, MMA, cheerleading and dance. It has also hosted the New Zealand Badminton Open for over 10 years. Ryan Bester
Ryan George Peter Bester (born 7 December 1984 in Hanover, Canada) is a Canadian lawn bowler. Bowls career World Outdoor Championships Bester won the gold medal in the pairs with Keith Roney at the 2004 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Ayr. After winning a bronze in the 2008 World Outdoor Bowls Championship he finished runner-up to Leif Selby in the 2012 World Outdoor Bowls Championship men's singles. He won his fifth World Championship medal when winning a silver medal in the singles at the 2016 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Christchurch. In 2020 he was selected for the 2020 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Australia. Commonwealth Games He clinched the silver medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in lawn bowling. Mark Casey (bowls)
Mark Casey (born 30 January 1982) is an international Australian lawn and indoor bowler. Bowls career In 2005 he won the gold medal at the inaugural World Cup Singles in Hong Kong. The following year in 2006 he won the gold medal in the triples competition at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. He won another the lawn bowls gold medal in the fours competition at the 2012 World Outdoor Bowls Championship. He won seven medals at the Asia Pacific Bowls Championships, of which three have been gold medals. Alex Marshall (bowls)
Alex "Tattie" Marshall (born 8 February 1967) is record breaking Scottish bowls player. Marshall plays at Gifford Bowls Club (outdoor) and East Lothian Indoor Bowling Club. Marshall began bowling at the age of eight supported by both his father and grandfather and first represented his country in 1988. He is a record breaking six-time World Indoor Singles Champion. He has eight World Indoor Pairs titles to his credit (six Open Pairs and two Mixed Pairs). Marshall has won seven World Outdoor Championship Gold medals (Pairs in 1992, 2000 and 2012, Fours in 1992, and Team in 1992, 1996 and 2004). His other achievements include four Commonwealth Games Gold medals (Pairs in 2002, 2006 and 2014, and Fours in 2014), one Atlantic Games Team Gold (in 2015), and three Hong Kong International Classic Pairs titles (in 1993, 1996 and 2002). Scott Thulborn (born 1984) is a retired Australian lawn bowls player, who won the 2016 World Singles Champion of Champions. Bowls career In 2016, Thulborn became the World Singles Champion of Champions defeating Jonathan Tomlinson of Wales in the final. He is twice the winner of the fours event at Australian National Bowls Championships (2015 & 2016). Illawarra

Tweed Heads is a town in New South Wales.
