Martin Bouquet
Martin Bouquet (; 6 August 1685 – 6 April 1754) was a French Benedictine monk and historian, of the Catholic Congregation of St.-Maur. His major work was ''Rerum Gallicarum et Francicarum Scriptores'', a collection of the historians of Gaul and France, which covers the time from France's earliest history until the year 987. Biography Bouquet was born at Amiens. As a boy he wanted to become a priest, but later decided to become a Benedictine monk. He joined the Congregation of St Maur and took vows at the monastery of St Faron, at Meaux on 16 August 1706. Shortly after he became a priest his superiors appointed him librarian at the monastery of St.-Germain-des-Prés, which at that time possessed a library of 60,000 books and 8,000 manuscripts. Being well versed in ancient Greek, Bouquet assisted his confrère Bernard de Montfaucon in his edition of the works of John Chrysostom. Bouquet Gardens is a major student residential complex of the University of Pittsburgh consisting of eight, 4-story garden-style gabled-roofed apartment buildings (Buildings A through H) clustered around progression of courtyards connected by an interior pathway as well as a four-story apartment-style residence hall (Building J). Each gabled-roofed apartment-style building contains sixteen 4-bedroom apartments while the 155 bed Building J contains amenities for use by residents of the entire complex. Bouquet, Santa Fe
Bouquet is a town in Belgrano Department, in Santa Fe Province, Argentina. It's located from the provincial capital Santa Fe In 1908 the federal government established the law that authorized the construction of a railway line from Las Rosas to Bouquet. After obtaining the land, work started in 1910 including the construction of a small town adjacent to the railway station. Bouquet therefore started with the construction of the station, and its opening on 19 September 1910, with the organization provided by its founders, Otto Bantle, Victorio De Lorenzi and Augusto Schanck who contracted Civil Engineer Benno Jorge Schanck for the planning of the town. On 12 September 1912 the name ''"Bouquet"'' was proposed for the station, as these lands once belonged to ex-federal senator Carlos María Bouquet, father-in-law of President José Figueroa Alcorta. Boquet is an unincorporated community in Penn Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, United States Name origin Though his name was spelled somewhat differently, it is commonly accepted that Boquet was named after General Henry Bouquet, a British army officer of the 18th century. The community lies along the original route of the Forbes Road, the road created by a British/colonial force under British General John Forbes to displace the French from Fort Duquesne in 1758. It was the second road into western Pennsylvania, the first having been Braddock's Road in 1755. Within a few years of its creation, the segment of Forbes' Road that Boquet would come to be located upon was removed several miles to the south. Hyacinth Bucket is a fictional character in the BBC sitcom ''Keeping Up Appearances'', portrayed by Patricia Routledge.
