Bounds Green TMD
Bounds Green TMD (also known as Bounds Green Train Maintenance Centre) is a traction maintenance depot situated in Bounds Green, North London. The depot is to the immediate north of Alexandra Palace railway station. It is presently operated by Hitachi and maintains AT300 units for London North Eastern Railway, Hull Trains and Lumo In chemistry, HOMO and LUMO are types of molecular orbitals. The acronyms stand for ''highest occupied molecular orbital'' and ''lowest unoccupied molecular orbital'', respectively. HOMO and LUMO are sometimes collectively called the ''frontie .... British Rail Class 08
The British Rail Class 08 is a class of diesel-electric shunting locomotive built by British Railways (BR). As the standard BR general-purpose diesel shunter, the class became a familiar sight at major stations and freight yards. Since their introduction in 1952, however, the nature of rail traffic in Britain has changed considerably. Freight trains are now mostly fixed rakes of wagons, and passenger trains are mostly multiple units or have Driving Van Trailers, neither requiring the attention of a shunting locomotive. Consequently, a large proportion of the class has been withdrawn from mainline use and stored, scrapped, exported or sold to industrial or heritage railways. As of 2020, around 100 locomotives remained working on industrial sidings and on the main British network. The British Rail Class 802 is a type of high speed bi-mode multiple-unit passenger train designed and produced by the Japanese manufacturer Hitachi Rail. The British Rail Class 801 ''Azuma'' is a type of electric multiple unit (EMU) built by Hitachi Rail for London North Eastern Railway. The units have been built since 2017 at Hitachi's Newton Aycliffe Manufacturing Facility and have been used on services on the East Coast Main Line since 16 September 2019. As part of its production, the Class 801 units were ordered as part of the Intercity Express Programme and are in the Hitachi AT300 product family, alongside the closely related Class 800 units. The British Rail Class 800 ''Intercity Express Train'' or ''Azuma'' is a type of bi-mode multiple unit train built by Hitachi Rail for Great Western Railway and London North Eastern Railway. The type uses electric motors powered from overhead electric wires for traction, but also has diesel generators to enable trains to operate on unelectrified track. Neville Hill TMD
Neville Hill is a railway train maintenance depot in Osmondthorpe, Leeds, England on the Leeds to Selby Line. The depot is situated to the east of Leeds railway station on the north side of the line. The TOPS depot code is NL. History In 1899 the locomotive shed at Holbeck was found not to have sufficient capacity for the number of locomotives using it, so an additional depot was constructed at Neville Hill by the North Eastern Railway at a cost of £132,971, with the facility being extended in 1904. Sometime during the 1950s the four-roundhouse shed was reduced by half and given a new frontage. A DMU shed is believed to have been added in 1958 along with servicing facilities for diesels although main line locomotives such as Class 45s were still being stabled outside the old brick-built steam shed in 1961. The British Rail Class 91 is a high-speed rail, high-speed electric locomotive, which produces power of ; it was ordered as a component of the East Coast Main Line modernisation and electrification programme of the late 1980s. Lumo is a British open-access operator owned by FirstGroup that operates passenger trains on the East Coast Main Line between and . It is headquartered in Newcastle upon Tyne.
