The single was produced by Swiff D, alongside the production duo Stargate, who also co-wrote the track with Jude Demorest, Jocelyn Donald, Normani, and Beresford Romeo. The song is included on the Japanese and expanded editions of Little Mix's sixth studio album, ''Confetti'', as a bonus track. ''Bounce Back'' samples "Back to Life (However Do You Want Me)" by Soul II Soul. Little Mix are a British girl group, composed of group members Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, and Perrie Edwards. Jesy Nelson was originally part of the group before she left in 2020. Trap is a subgenre of hip hop music that originated in the Southern United States during the 1990s. The genre gets its name from the Atlanta slang word "trap", a house used exclusively to sell drugs.
