Bottmingen Castle
Bottmingen Castle (german: link=no, Schloss Bottmingen) is a castle in the Bottmingen, municipality of Bottmingen in the Canton of Basel-Landschaft, canton of Basel-Land in Switzerland. It is a Swiss Swiss inventory of cultural property of national and regional significance, heritage site of national significance. History The castle was probably built in the second half of the 13th century. Its oldest documented owner was the Kämmerer family, which owned it as of 1363. The castle was rebuilt during the 18th century into an early-Baroque architecture, Baroque country manor in the French Baroque architecture, French style by Johannes Deucher. Elections to the Swiss Federal Assembly, the federal parliament of Switzerland, were held on Sunday, 21 October 2007. In a few cantons, a second round of the elections to the Council of States was held on 11 November, 18 November, and 25 November 2007.
