Bosphorus Rally
The Bosphorus Rally (also called Istanbul Rally, Fiat Rally, Rally of Turkey and Günaydin Rally) is a rally event, held near Istanbul, Turkey. It is one of the first international rally events in Turkey. The first Bosphorus Rally was held in 1972. The rally was regular part of the European Rally Championship since its first incarnation and was also included in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge calendar. The Bosphorus Rally was also called Rally of Turkey for a while. However, the Rally of Turkey which became a round from the World Rally Championship has HQ in Antalya and thus it's completely different from the Bosphorus Rally. The Rally is not to be confused with the Boğaziçi Rallisi, held since 1975, also called Bosphorus Rally in some editions. Rallying
Rally is a wide-ranging form of motorsport with various competitive motoring elements such as speed tests (often called ''rally racing),'' navigation tests, or the ability to reach waypoints or a destination at a prescribed time or average speed. Rallies may be short in the form of trials at a single venue, or several thousand miles long in an extreme endurance rally. Depending on the format, rallies may be organised on private or public roads, open or closed to traffic, or off-road in the form of cross country or rally-raid. Competitors can use production vehicles which must be road-legal if being used on open roads or specially built competition vehicles suited to crossing specific terrain. The Škoda 130, Škoda 135 and Škoda 136 are three variations of a rear-engined, rear-wheel drive small family car that was produced by Czechoslovakian car manufacturer Škoda Auto, AZNP in Mladá Boleslav, Czechoslovakia between 1984 and 1990. Opel Manta 400
The Opel Manta is a rear-wheel-drive sports coupé built by German manufacturer Opel in two generations from 1970 to 1988. The Manta was a mildly sporting coupé based on the Ascona family car, akin to the Ford Falcon-based Mustang and its various imitators such as the Ford Capri. The Manta remained rear-wheel drive for both generations and also saw certain competition success. Kalevi Aho (rally Driver)
Kalevi Ensio Aho (born 9 March 1949) is a Finnish composer. Early years Aho began his interest in music at the age of ten, when he discovered a mandolin in his home and began to teach himself how to play it. He soon was taken under the tutelage of Martti Loikkanen, the boy's 4th grade teacher and founder of a local youth mandolin ensemble in Forssa. After learning how to read sheet music, Aho immediately started composing. Aho progressed so fast on the instrument that Loikkanen suggested he study the violin as well, with Loikkanen giving him private lessons. Aho also began to learn violin at an incredible speed, with him later recalling, "Martti taught me at home for free until I started skipping him out of my playing skills and he suggested changing teachers." The Fiat 131 is a family sedan manufactured and marketed by Fiat from 1974 to 1984 after its debut at the 1974 Turin Motor Show. Available as a two-door and four-door saloon and 5-door estate across a single generation, the 131 succeeded the Fiat 124. The 131 was also marketed as the Fiat Mirafiori, after the Turin suburb where the cars were manufactured.
