Bidirectional-streams Over Synchronous HTTP (BOSH) is a transport protocol that emulates a bidirectional stream between two entities (such as a client and a server) by using multiple synchronous HTTP request/response pairs without requiring the use of polling or asynchronous chunking. For applications that require both "push" and "pull" communications, BOSH is significantly more bandwidth-efficient and responsive than most other bidirectional HTTP-based transport protocols and AJAX. BOSH achieves this by avoiding HTTP polling, yet it does so without resorting to chunked HTTP responses as is done in the technique known as Comet. To date, BOSH has been used mainly as a transport for traffic exchanged between Jabber/XMPP clients and servers (e.g., to facilitate connections from web clients and from mobile clients on intermittent networks). Bosh (born c. 1992) is a French rapper of Congolese origin from Plaisir, a western suburb of Paris. He specializes in street rap and deals with subjects of drugs, violence and youth problems. He became well known through the web series ''Dans le kartier'' released on YouTube in 2009. He was in the rap formation BLK, a collective of 9 rappers and musicians including Bosh. He was also part of the rap group 78. He gained further clout in 2016 with the freestyle series Mal dominant. Christopher Wesson Bosh (born March 24, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player. A Texas Mr. Basketball in high school, he played one season of college basketball for Georgia Tech before declaring for the 2003 NBA draft. Bosh was selected fourth overall by the Toronto Raptors. He is best known for his tenure in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla under the ring name Chris Bosh, where he was a three time PWG World Tag Team Champion. Abisha Collins "Bosh" Pritchard (September 10, 1919 – November 7, 1996) was an American football halfback in the National Football League who played for ten seasons for the Cleveland Rams, the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants. He appeared in 60 NFL games, scored 25 touchdowns, and compiled 1,730 rushing yards, 1,168 receiving yards, 1,072 punt return yards, and 938 kickoff return yards. He led the NFL in 1949 with an average of 6.0 yards per rushing carry and in 1946 with an average of 11.3 yards per touch. He also led the NFL in 1948 with five fumble recoveries. He attended Georgia Tech and the Virginia Military Institute. Pritchard served as a commentator on Eagles television broadcasts for CBS in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He was inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in 1997.
