Boro'line London
Boro'line London was a bus operator that operated bus services under contract to London Regional Transport. It was owned by Maidstone Borough Council who already operated Boro'line Maidstone. It experienced initial rapid success, gaining and operating some of the first services to be contracted out in the Bexleyheath area of South East London. Later services reached Greenwich, Stratford and Euston station. However, the company quickly encountered problems, and on 17 February 1992 sold its London operations to Kentish Bus. Two days later, Boro'line was placed into administration. History Boro'line successfully tendered to operate several London bus routes, with the first contracts being won in 1987. In January 1988 Boro'line started its London operations with Bexley-based routes from a Bexley council site in Crayford. Another site in Greenwich later came into use for two Greenwich services working into Euston, Stratford and Lewisham.

Bexleybus
Bexleybus was an English bus operator. A subsidiary of Selkent, it was established as a low cost operator. It operated services under contract to London Regional Transport from January 1988 until January 1991. History Bexleybus was formed by Selkent as a low cost operator to operate tendered services in the Bexleyheath and Woolwich areas. With London Buses having to tender for routes as part of the London Regional Transport Act 1984, low cost units were established with the hope that reduced costs would allow them to be able to competitively bid. Bexleybus commenced operating on 16 January 1988 operating 17 routes with 107 buses from a reopened Bexleyheath garage. Routes operated included 96, 99, 178, 229, 269, 272, 401, 422, 469, and 492. Buses included new leased Leyland Olympians and reactivated Daimler Fleetlines and Leyland Nationals. Leyland Olympian
The Leyland Olympian was a 2-axle and 3-axle double-decker bus chassis manufactured by Leyland between 1980 and 1993. It was the last Leyland bus model in production. Construction The Olympian had the same chassis and running gear as the Leyland Titan integral double deck bus which was ordered in large numbers by London Transport. At the time there was a demand for non-integral vehicles, because operators wished to have the chassis bodied by other manufacturers. Thus Leyland created the B45 project, which was named Olympian, in 1979. This was in many ways an update of the popular Bristol VRT (Bristol Commercial Vehicles merged with Leyland in 1965), with many VR customers choosing Olympians. Later the Olympian also replaced the Leyland Atlantean. The Olympian was unveiled at the 1980 Commercial Motor Show. It was available in two lengths, 9.56m and 10.25m. The Volvo Ailsa B55 was a front-engined double-decker bus chassis manufactured in Scotland by Ailsa, Volvo's British subsidiary in which it owned 75%, from 1974 until 1985. Versions The B55 was designed with a front-mounted engine that still allowed a front entrance position suitable for one-person operation. In this sense there was a common goal with the earlier, unsuccessful, Guy Wulfrunian. It was fitted with the Volvo TD70 engine, a compact turbocharged unit of 6.7-litres. London Buses Route 188
London Buses route 188 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between North Greenwich bus station and Russell Square, it is operated by London Central. History Upon being tendered in 1988, the route passed to Boro'line. Initially Leyland Atlanteans hired from Ipswich Buses and Daimler Fleetlines from Nottingham City Transport were used, until new Alexander bodied Volvo Citybuses were delivered in 1989. London Buses route 132 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Bexleyheath and North Greenwich bus station, it is operated by London Central. History On 24 January 2009, the route was extended westwards via the Greenwich Peninsula to North Greenwich bus station. On 3 October 2009, East Thames Buses was sold to London General, which included a five-year contract to operate route 132.
