Boriša Simanić
Boriša Simanić ( sr-cyr, Бориша Симанић, born 20 March 1998) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Casademont Zaragoza of the Liga ACB. He also represents the Serbian national team internationally. Playing career Crvena zvezda (2013–2021) Boriša moved to the Crvena zvezda's youth system in December 2013 from Budućnost Bijeljina, making his senior team debut at Crvena zvezda during the 2015–16 season. He was named Most Valuable Player of the 2016 Euroleague Next Generation Tournament Finals in 2016. Simanić made his first EuroLeague appearance on October 22, 2015 in a 71–98 loss to Real Madrid, tallying ten points and four rebounds in 28 minutes of action. He was a member of the World Select Team that played in the Nike Hoop Summit in Portland, Oregon on April 7, 2017. KK Crvena zvezda is a men's professional basketball Sports club, club based in Belgrade, Serbia, which has youth system teams, cadets (under-16) and juniors (under-18 and under-19). The U18 and U19 teams play in the RODA Junior Basketball League of Serbia and the Junior Adriatic League. They have won a Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournament. The Serbia men's national basketball team ( sr, Кошаркашка репрезентација Србије, Košarkaška reprezentacija Srbije) represents Serbia in international basketball competition and is controlled by the Basketball Federation of Serbia. FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship
The FIBA U16 European Championship, previously known as the FIBA Europe Championship for Cadets, is a youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1971 edition. Through the 2003 edition, it was held every second year, but since the 2004 edition onward, it is held every year. The 2015–16 Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournament, also called Adidas Next Generation Tournament by sponsorship reasons, is the 14th edition of the international junior basketball tournament organized by the Euroleague Basketball Company. The Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournament is an international boy's youth age basketball tournament that is contested between the best basketball clubs in Europe in the Under-18 age category. The ABA League Supercup, also credited as ABA Super Cup, is an annual men's professional basketball supercup competition between teams from the ABA League. It is run by the ABA League JTD. It is a regional competition, that is contested between teams from six countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia.
