Boris Savović
Boris Savović (Serbian Cyrillic: Борис Савовић; born June 18, 1987) is a Serbian-Montenegrin professional basketball player for Al-Muharraq of the Bahraini Premier League. Standing at 2.10 meters, he mainly features as a power forward or a center. Professional career Savović began his professional career in 2004 with Hemofarm. In September 2009, he signed a one-year deal with the Montenegrin team Budućnost Podgorica. In September 2010, he returned to Hemofarm, signing a one-year deal with an option to extend his contract for one more year. During the 2011–12 season of the Adriatic League he averaged 12.8 points and 11.4 rebounds per game. In January 2012, he moved to Turkey and signed with Galatasaray Medical Park for the rest of the season. On 26 July 2012 he signed a two-year deal with Crvena zvezda. Serbian Cyrillic Alphabet
The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet ( sr, / , ) is a variation of the Cyrillic script used to write the Serbian language, updated in 1818 by Serbian linguist Vuk Stefanović Karadžić, Vuk Karadžić. It is one of the two alphabets used to write standard modern Serbian language, Serbian, the other being Gaj's Latin alphabet. Karadžić based his alphabet on the previous Slavonic-Serbian script, following the principle of "write as you speak and read as it is written", removing obsolete letters and letters representing iotified vowels, introducing from the Latin alphabet instead, and adding several consonant letters for sounds specific to Serbian phonology. The Radivoj Korać Cup ( sr, Куп Радивоја Кораћа / Kup Radivoja Koraća) is the men's national basketball cup of Serbia. It is run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia and is named after a Serbian basketball legend and FIBA Hall of Fame and Basketball Hall of Fame member Radivoj Korać. The Montenegrin Basketball Cup is an annual cup competition for Montenegrin basketball teams held since 2007. History Montenegrin clubs in Yugoslav Cup Before the Montenegrin independence in 2006, clubs from Montenegro played in national Cup of Yugoslavia. The Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) (English language: ''Federal Basketball League''), for sponsorship reasons named easyCredit BBL, is the highest level league of professional club basketball in Germany. The league comprises 18 teams. A BBL season is split into a league stage and a playoff stage. At the end of the league stage, the top eight teams qualify for the playoff stage, and the teams positioned in the 17th and 18th places are relegated to a lower-tier league. The 2016–17 Prva A Liga, known as Erste košarkaške lige by sponsorship reasons, is the 11th season of the Montenegrin Basketball League, the top tier basketball league on Montenegro. KK Budućnost, Budućnost VOLI is the defending champion. Montenegrin Basketball League
The Prva A liga, for sponsorships reasons named the Erste Liga, is the top-tier professional basketball league in Montenegro. It is the highest basketball division organized by the Basketball Association of Montenegro (KSCG). Adriatic League expanded from 14 to 16 teams before the 2004–05 season.
