Charles J. Bordeleau is a retired Canadian police officer who served as the chief of police of the Ottawa Police Service from March 2012 until May 2019. Prior to this, he served as the city's deputy chief of police. Born and raised in Ottawa, Bordeleau began his policing career in 1984, serving on numerous community organizations, including the Community Police Action Committee. He was also a member of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police Emergency Management Committee as well as the International Committee and the director for the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police's Zone 2. Christian Gerrard "Chris" Bordeleau (born September 23, 1947) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward (ice hockey), forward. He played in the National Hockey League between 1969 and 1972, and the World Hockey Association between 1972 and 1979. Playing career Bordeleau started his National Hockey League career with the Montreal Canadiens in 1968–69 NHL season, 1969. He also played for the Chicago Black Hawks and St. Louis Blues. Patrick Bordeleau (born March 23, 1986) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger. He previously played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Colorado Avalanche. Playing career Born in Noranda, Quebec, Bordeleau started his National Hockey League career with the Vancouver Canucks in 1973. He spent his entire NHL career with the Canucks. Yvan Bordeleau (born February 19, 1942 in La Sarre) was the Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Quebec, Canada, for the Montreal provincial electoral district of Acadie from 1989 to 2007. Bordeleau holds a doctoral degree in psychology from the Université de Montréal and is a former university professor. Bordeleau held the riding of Acadie as a member of the Quebec Liberal Party (QLP) from the 1989 election on September 25, 1989. He was re-elected in the subsequent elections of 1994, 1998, and 2003.
