In ancient Greek religion and myth, the Anemoi (Greek: , 'Winds') were wind gods who were each ascribed a cardinal direction from which their respective winds came (see Classical compass winds), and were each associated with various seasons and weather conditions. The bora is a northerly to north-easterly katabatic wind in areas near the Adriatic Sea. Similar nomenclature is used for north-eastern winds in other littoral areas of eastern Mediterranean and Black Sea basins. Boran Kuzum (born 1 October 1992) is a Turkish actor. He graduated from the Theater Department of Istanbul University State Conservatory in 2015. Kuzum had studied economy at Ankara Gazi University for a year, but gave it up to study. His father, Bora Kuzum was the deputy manager of Ankara State Theatre. Behice Boran
Behice Boran (1 May 1910 – 10 October 1987) was a Turkish Marxist politician, author and sociologist. As a dissenting political voice from the left, Boran was repeatedly imprisoned for her work and died in exile after the Turkish military coup of 1980. Biography Boran was born in Bursa to Kazan Tatar parents whose families had settled in the Ottoman Empire during the 1890s. She graduated from American College for Girls in Istanbul and studied sociology at the University of Michigan in the United States. She received a PhD on sociology in 1939 from the University of Michigan, and was involved in Marxism. She was nominated to Ankara University, Faculty of Language and History-Geography as an associate professor. Orhan Boran
Orhan Boran (30 June 1928 – 26 May 2012) was a Turkish radio and TV host and actor. He was also widely known for his laudable usage of the Turkish language. Early life Boran was born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1928 as the son of Hikmet Boran, a graduate of the medical college. At the age of ten, Orhan enrolled at the famed Galatasaray High School, where he was a boarder even on weekends. His first stage experience came when he was still at Galatasaray as he took part in school drama productions. The plays were directed by Necdet Mahfi Ayral, a fine actor with the Municipal Theaters, and Boran had the leading role. Career Boran's stage career was launched when he graduated from high school in 1946. A year after joining the ranks of the Municipal Theaters, Boran found the opportunity to go to Paris and work as an intern with a theater known as Les Mathurins. Pat Boran (born 1963) is an Irish poet. Biography Born in Portlaoise, Boran has lived in Dublin for a number of years.
