Boonville High School
Boonville High School is a public high school located in Boonville, Indiana. The school is one of three high schools in Warrick County, that make up the Warrick County School Corporation. About Boonville High School, Warrick County's oldest high school, was built in 1958 and is located on a 34-acre site that borders North First Street in the city of Boonville. A series of additions and remodeling were completed in 1976, 1983, 2000, and 2023. The band room, auditorium, kitchen and cafeteria were renovated in 1983. New additions at that time included an indoor swimming pool with spectator seating, adjacent locker and dressing rooms, faculty office space and a gymnasium. The 2000 construction project renovated all existing classrooms and added a new technology education wing, art classrooms, an agricultural science facility and a greenhouse. Bibbles Bawel
Edward Raymond "Bibbles" Bawel (born November 21, 1930) is a former American football safety in the National Football League for the Philadelphia Eagles. He also was a member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the Interprovincial Rugby Football Union. He played college football at Evansville College. Early years Bawel attended Boonville High School. He accepted a basketball scholarship from the Evansville College, where he was a three-sport standout; winning a total of five varsity letters in football, basketball and baseball. He was a starter on the 1951-52 basketball team for the legendary coach Arad McCutchan. He led the Purple Aces to a record of 22-1-2 from 1948-1951; the 1949 Ohio Valley Conference championship and appearances in the 1948 and 1949 Refrigerator Bowls. Big Eight Conference (IHSAA)
The Big Eight Conference was an athletic conference of IHSAA Class AAA high schools located in Southwestern Indiana. The conference members were small city-based schools located in Daviess, Dubois, Gibson, Knox, Posey, and Warrick counties in Indiana and once included Wabash County in Illinois. The conference ceased operations with the 2019-20 Winter Season as the final spring season was canceled because of the 2020 Coronavirus Outbreak. Five Finger Death Punch, also abbreviated as 5FDP or FFDP, is an American heavy metal band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2005. The band originally consisted of vocalist and keyboardist Ivan Moody, rhythm guitarist Zoltan Bathory, lead guitarist Caleb Andrew Bingham, bassist Matt Snell, and drummer Jeremy Spencer. Bingham was replaced by guitarist Darrell Roberts in 2006, who was then replaced by Jason Hook in 2009. Bassist Matt Snell departed from the band in 2010, and was replaced by Chris Kael in 2011. Jeremy Spencer Heyde (born January 8, 1973) is an American musician, best known as the former drummer of Heavy metal music, heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch. He is currently the frontman of Psycho Synner (formerly Psychosexual), a metal/gothic rock band where he performs under the name Grym Synner. On October 31, 2021, Spencer released a one-day record nine Psycho Synner albums. Jonathan Samuel Hilbert (born July 15, 1975) is a former American football placekicker in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers.
