Boondael railway station (french: Gare de Boondael) or Boondaal railway station ( nl, Station Boondaal) is a railway station in the municipality of Ixelles in Brussels, Belgium, operated by the National Railway Company of Belgium (NMBS/SNCB). The station lies on line 26, between Delta and Vivier d'Oie railway stations, respectively in Auderghem and Uccle. The station offers a connection with Brussels tram routes 8 and 25. The stop is the terminus of route 25. Vivier D'Oie Railway Station
Claude Vivier ( ; baptised as Claude Roger; 14 April 19487 March 1983) was a Canadian contemporary composer, pianist, poet and ethnomusicologist of Québécois origin. After studying with Karlheinz Stockhausen in Cologne, Vivier became an innovative member of the "German Feedback" movement, a subset of what is now known as spectral music. He was also among the first composers in either Europe or the Americas to integrate elements of Balinese music and gamelan in his compositions, alongside Lou Harrison, John Cage and fellow Québécois Colin McPhee. Despite working at a slow pace and leaving behind a small ''oeuvre'', Vivier's musical language is vast and diverse. The 19 municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region (All text and all but one graphic show the English name as Brussels-Capital Region.) are the political subdivisions of Belgium's central region. The government of each municipality is responsible for the handling of local level duties, such as law enforcement and the upkeep of schools and roads within its borders. Municipal administration is also conducted by a mayor, a council, and an executive. In 1831, Belgium was divided into 2,739 municipalities, including 20 within the current Brussels-Capital Region (which at that time did not exist). In 1841, a 21st and 22nd municipality were created when Berchem-Sainte-Agathe formally separated from neighboring Koekelberg and Jette-Ganshoren split into Jette and Ganshoren.
