''Boom'' (stylized as ''boom.'') is the second studio album by American country pop singer Walker Hayes. The album, containing 10 songs, was released on December 8, 2017. Background The release date was announced by Hayes label in the first week of September 2017. The album's lead single, "You Broke Up with Me", was released on June 26, 2017. Hayes spoke of the album, he said "'Boom!' It's my favorite word. It's what I text my team every time another station adds 'You Broke Up With Me'... It's the first thing I say after I play a song from the album for anyone... So, it's what we had to call the album." Commercial performance The album debuted at No. 6 on ''Billboard''s Top Country Albums, with 12,300 copies sold. It has sold 32,600 copies in the United States as of May 2018. Charles Edgar Walker Hayes (born December 27, 1979) is an American country-pop singer and songwriter. He has released three studio albums: ''Reason to Rhyme'' in 2011 on Capitol Records Nashville, and ''Boom (Walker Hayes album), Boom'' and ''Country Stuff the Album'' in 2017 and 2022 on Monument Records. Hayes has charted multiple singles on the ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts; his highest-peaking is "Fancy Like", which reached the number one position on both charts between late 2021 and early 2022. Derek Wells
Derek M. Wells, KC, (born 28 November 1946) is a Canadian former politician who served a Liberal Member of Parliament for the riding of South Shore from 1993 to 1997. Early life and education Born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, he graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 1972. Political career Wells won the South Shore electoral district for the Liberal party in the 1993 federal election. After serving in the 35th Canadian Parliament, Wells was defeated in the 1997 federal election. He unsuccessfully attempted to return to Parliament in the 2000 federal election. He also served as President of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party, supporting the provincial form of the party, and is a partner at Hennigar, Wells, Lamey and Baker in Chester. The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. A whistle is an instrument which produces sound from a stream of gas, most commonly air. It may be mouth-operated, or powered by air pressure, steam, or other means. Whistles vary in size from a small slide whistle or nose flute type to a large multi-piped church organ. Whistles have been around since early humans first carved out a gourd or branch and found they could make sound with it. In prehistoric Egypt, small shells were used as whistles. Many present day wind instruments are inheritors of these early whistles. With the rise of more mechanical power, other forms of whistles have been developed. The pedal steel guitar is a Console steel guitar, console-type of steel guitar with pedals and knee levers that change the pitch of certain strings to enable playing more varied and complex music than any previous steel guitar design. Paul Franklin (musician)
Paul V. Franklin (born May 31, 1954) is an American multi-instrumentalist, known mainly for his work as a steel guitarist. He began his career in the 1970s as a member of Barbara Mandrell's road band; in addition he toured with Vince Gill, Mel Tillis, Jerry Reed and Dire Straits. He has since become a prolific session musician in Nashville, playing on more than 500 albums. He has been named by the Academy of Country Music as Best Steel Guitarist on several occasions.
