Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC is an Australian semi-professional soccer club based in Bonnyrigg, Sydney, New South Wales, currently playing in the NSW League One. The club was founded in 1968 as Avala Sports Club and took its current name in 1992. History Established by Serbian immigrants from the Cabramatta area of south-west Sydney. Its most famous products are former Socceroo Milan Blagojevic, current Socceroos Milos Degenek and Danny Vuković, as well as Young Socceroo and former Melbourne Heart defender David Vranković. Misha Radovic was Red Star player for 13 years and also Champion of Europe with Yugoslavia U19 in 1979. Aleksandar Janković was manager of Red Star Belgrade twice. Former Brisbane Roar defender Milan Susak played a major role in Ange Postecoglou's Premiership and Championship winning side. Avala Sports Club is the home of the Avala football (soccer) club in Bonnyrigg, New South Wales, Australia. The ground has played host to some notable matches over the years but none more so than the friendly clash between the Bonnyrigg White Eagles and the high-profile 1991 European Cup Champions Red Star Belgrade who were in Australia on a mid-season break in January 2001. Milan Susak
Milan Susak (, born 29 January 1984) is an Australian retired footballer who last played for Yangon United as a defender. He is currently a trainer at the youth soccer team of western Sydney. Club career Early years Susak is also of Serbian descent. He penned a one-year deal on 26 July 2007 after impressing coach Aurelio Vidmar in pre-season games against Melbourne and Perth. Susak's previous club was FK Vojvodina in the Meridian Superliga in Serbia and Montenegro, for whom he made 22 appearances having also played on loan in two lower league clubs, FK Veternik and FK ČSK Čelarevo. Leichhardt Oval
Leichhardt Oval is a rugby league and soccer stadium in Lilyfield, New South Wales, Australia. It is currently one of three home grounds for the Wests Tigers National Rugby League (NRL) team, along with Campbelltown Stadium and Western Sydney Stadium. Prior to its merger with the Western Suburbs Magpies, it was the longtime home of the Balmain Tigers, who used the ground from 1934–1994 and 1997–1999. It was named after Ludwig Leichhardt. As of July 2012, Leichhardt Oval is the most played-on Australian professional rugby league ground in active use in the National Rugby League, having hosted 794 games since Balmain played its first game at the ground against Western Suburbs in Round 1 of the 1934 NSWRFL season, held on ANZAC Day, Wests winning the game 18-5. Robbie Younis
Robert Younis (born 14 August 1985) is a Lebanese-Australian footballer who played for Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC and APIA Leichhardt in the New South Wales Premier League. With great success at the club, in 2017 he decided to hang up his boots. Club career Younis signed for Adelaide in 2008 after an impressive two seasons for APIA Leichhardt in the NSW Premier League which saw him net a phenomenal 38 goals in just 43 appearances.
