Bonnie Tan
Bonnie Tan (born September 9, 1972) is a Filipino basketball coach serving currently for the Colegio de San Juan de Letran's men's basketball team of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines) (NCAA) and team manager for NorthPort Batang Pier of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) since 2014. He is also a Freemason of the Grand Lodge of the Philippines Career Playing career In 1988, Tan played under Alfrancis Chua's Grace Christian High School (now Grace Christian College). Tan then played for the UST Growling Tigers under Aric del Rosario from 1991 to 1992. Coaching career In 1991, Tan served as Goldwin Monteverde's assistant in Saint Stephen's High School's developmental team, while studying in UST. Aric Del Rosario
Januario "Aric" del Rosario (January 1, 1940 – March 25, 2020) was a Filipino basketball player and coach who served as head coach of the UST Growling Tigers in the UAAP, Pampanga Dragons in the Metropolitan Basketball Association, the 2003 RP Men's Team in the Southeast Asian Games, and of the UPHSD Altas from 2012 to 2015; until he retired and was made a consultant of the team in the NCAA. He was also a consultant and assistant Coach of Toyota-Balintawak Road Kings in the Philippine Basketball League. He was the commissioner of the NCAA (Philippines) from 2009 to 2011. Pido Jarencio
Alfredo Lorenzo Mendoza Jarencio (born September 5, 1964) is a Filipino basketball coach and former professional basketball player who is the head coach for the NorthPort Batang Pier of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was the head coach of the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers Senior men's collegiate basketball team of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines from 2006 to 2013. Known as "the Fireman" when he was actively playing in the PBA, he distinguished himself as one of the league's best three-point shooters, especially in clutch situations. 2021 PBA Philippine Cup
The 2021 Philippine Cup, also known as the 2021 Honda PBA Philippine Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the first conference of the 2021 PBA season of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The 43rd PBA Philippine Cup started on July 16, 2021, and ended on October 29, 2021. The tournament did not allow teams to hire foreign players or imports. On August 3, the league announced that it will be suspending their games beginning August 4 after the government declared that Metro Manila will be under Enhanced Community Quarantine from August 6 to 20. The league have appealed to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) if they can continue their tournament in Batangas, which is under a more relaxed quarantine restrictions. UAAP Season 82 Basketball Tournaments
The UAAP Season 82 basketball tournaments were the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) basketball tournaments for the 2019–20 school year. Jensen Ilagan, the technical director of the regional ASEAN Basketball League was appointed commissioner for the season's basketball tournaments on August 6, 2019. The senior men's and women's tournaments began on September 4, 2019, while the juniors' division which was sub-hosted by National University held their opening games on November 13 for the boys' tournament and on January 11, 2020 for the newly formed girls' competition. Aldin Ayo
Aldin Valladolid Ayo (born October 15, 1977) is a Filipino basketball coach and politician who currently serves as head coach for the Converge FiberXers of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He formerly played (in late 90s) and coached his alma mater Letran Knights. High school career Ayo, a native of Sorsogon City, graduated from Colegio De La Milagrosa in elementary and finished his high school education at the Our Lady of Peñafrancia Seminary in 1994. Collegiate career Ayo played collegiate basketball at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran from 1998 to 2001.
