Fireworks is an American rock band from Metro Detroit, Michigan. They are currently signed to Triple Crown Records. History Early years and debut album (2004–10) Fireworks began in 2004 under the name Bears, hailing from the Metro Detroit area of Michigan. A demo, ''Can't Hardly Wait'', was released on September 15, 2005. They signed to the independent label, Run For Cover Records, who released their debut EP, ''We Are Everywhere'', and 7" ''Adventure, Nostalgia and Robbery''. In October 2006, they appeared at the Bamboozle Left festival. In January 2007, they went on a West Coast tour with First to Leave, and later appeared at Sincerity Fest. In May and June 2007, they went on tour with Set Your Goals, Just Surrender, and Driving East. They then embarked on the Act Like You Know Tour alongside the White Tie Affair. ''Oh, Common Life'' (stylized as ''(oh), common life.'') is the third studio album by American rock band Fireworks. After the release of their previous album, ''Gospel'' (2011), the band went on hiatus. During this hiatus the band wrote and demoed new material. In the summer of 2013 the band returned to the studio, with Brian McTernan producing. The band's next album was announced in January 2014 and was released a couple of months later through Triple Crown. Prior to the album's release, "Glowing Crosses" and "Flies on Tape" were made available for streaming. Hostage Calm was an American punk rock band from Wallingford, Connecticut, United States, formed in 2007. Hostage Calm released two extended plays, four full-length albums, and a split with punk band Anti-Flag. The band announced their breakup on October 8, 2014, and played their last show on March 6, 2015. The group was featured on the MTV television series ''Band in a Bubble'' in 2007 as part of an experiment where they were given 20 days to write and record a full album. The current members of the band include vocalist/bassist Will Pugh, lead guitarist Joseph Pepper, guitarist Nic Hudson, and drummer Kevin Sanders. In April 2020, Pugh released an EP for a new side project, TAURIDS, with fellow Nashville residents Bobby Holland and Adam Bokesch—both musicians and audio producers/engineers from the band The Daybreaks.

Polar Bear Club was an American post-hardcore band from Rochester and Syracuse in upstate New York.
