Boneo, Victoria
Boneo is a locality on the Mornington Peninsula in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, approximately south of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the Shire of Mornington Peninsula local government area. Boneo recorded a population of 314 at the 2021 census. Boneo is located south of and inland from Rosebud. History Boneo Post Office first opened on 1 July 1874 and closed in 1877. It reopened in 1902 and apart for a short recess was open until 1951. Today It is dominated by the Boneo Flats, where market gardens and pastures are located. It contains a recreation reserve, community hall and primary school. A market also operates on the third Saturday of every month. Electoral District Of Nepean
The electoral district of Nepean is an electorate of the Victorian Legislative Assembly covering the southernmost part of the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. It is named after Point Nepean, Victoria, Point Nepean which is contained within the electorate. The seat was created prior to the 2002 Victorian state election as a replacement for Electoral district of Dromana, Dromana. Like its predecessor, historically it had been a relatively safe seat for the Liberal Party of Australia (Victorian Division), Liberal Party, although Australian Labor Party (Victorian Branch), Labor came within 0.2% of winning it in 2002. The Shire of Flinders was a local government area encompassing the extremity of the Mornington Peninsula, about south of Melbourne, the state capital of Victoria, Australia. 2021 Australian Census
The 2021 Australian census, simply called the 2021 Census, was the eighteenth national Census of Population and Housing in Australia. The 2021 Census took place on 10 August 2021, and was conducted by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). It had a response rate of 96.1%, up from the 95.1% at the 2016 census. The total population of the Commonwealth of Australia was counted as 25,422,788, an increase of 8.6 per cent or 2,020,896 people over the previous 2016 census. Results from the 2021 census were released to the public on 28 June 2022 from the Australian Bureau of Statistics website. A small amount of additional 2021 census data was released in October 2022 and in 2023. Australia's next census is scheduled to take place in 2026.
