"Bombollini" is a song by British singer-songwriter Chris Rea, released in 1984 as the second single from his sixth studio album ''Wired to the Moon''. It was written by Rea, and produced by Rea and Dave Richards. The song failed to make a chart appearance on the UK Singles Chart but reached No. 21 on the Irish Singles Chart. Critical reception On its release, Colin Davidson of the '' Evening Express'' wrote: "The comeback continues in fine style. This six minute epic is one good reason why you should buy the ''Wired to the Moon'' album." Frank Hopkinson of ''Number One'' felt the song "starts off like a teeming eco-system of sound building up slowly and surely". "I Don't Know What It Is But I Love It" is a song by British singer-songwriter Chris Rea, released in 1984 as the lead single from his sixth studio album ''Wired to the Moon''. It was written by Rea, and produced by Rea and Dave Richards. The song reached No. 65 in the UK Singles Chart and remained in the Top 100 for four weeks. It also peaked at No. 23 on the Irish Singles Chart. The track was popular with the squad of Liverpool F.C. in their campaign for the 1983-4 European Cup, and they sang it in the tunnel before walking out before the final against A.S. Roma, which some players attributed as one reason for their eventual victory. Incantation (musical Group)
Incantation are a musical group playing traditional tribal and other South American music. The band started in 1981 from a pool of musicians who were, at the time, playing all kinds of different types of music for the (then) Ballet Rambert, based in London. A new ballet was choreographed (called "Ghost Dances") about political oppression in South America, to the music of Inti-Illimani, the exiled Chilean folk group. The company preferred to use live musicians (rather than tapes) for performances, and six of the musicians volunteered. Authentic instruments were procured, and some time was spent perfecting how to play them. The show was a hit and before long the band was offered a recording contract by Coda Records, a subsidiary of Beggars Banquet Records. Incantation was chosen as the band's name, based on the word "Inca". The ''Evening Express'' is a daily local newspaper serving the city of Aberdeen, Scotland. History It was first published in November 1879. It was a tabloid during the 1930s to the 1950s until it resumed as a broadsheet in November 1958, six days a week. By September 1989, The Saturday edition returned to a tabloid with the broadsheet formula during the weekdays. It became a tabloid six days a week in February 1995.
