Eivind Bolle
Eivind Albin Andreas Bolle (13 October 1923 – 10 June 2012) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He was born in Hol. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Nordland in 1973, and was re-elected on two occasions. He had previously served as a deputy representative during the term 1969–1973. He was the Minister of Fisheries from 1973 to 1981 during three different cabinets: second cabinet Bratteli, cabinet Nordli and first cabinet Brundtland. During these three periods he was replaced in the Parliament by Eindride Sommerseth, Karl Ingebrigtsen and Finn Knutsen respectively. On the local level he was a member of Hol municipality council from 1959 to 1963, and later in Hol's successor municipality Vestvågøy Vestvågøy is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. Frank W. Bolle (June 23, 1924 – May 12, 2020) was an American comic-strip artist, comic book artist and illustrator, best known as the longtime artist of the newspaper strips ''Winnie Winkle'' and ''The Heart of Juliet Jones''; for stints on the comic books ''Tim Holt'' and ''Doctor Solar, Man of the Atom''; and as an illustrator for the Boy Scouts of America magazine ''Boys' Life'' for 18 years. With an unknown writer, he co-created the masked, Old West comic-book heroine the Black Phantom. Bolle sometimes used the pen name FWB and, at least once, F. L. Blake. Roberto Bolle (born March 26, 1975 in Casale Monferrato) is an Italian danseur. He is currently a ''principal dancer'' with the American Ballet Theatre and a principal dancer ''étoile'' at La Scala Theatre Ballet. Bolle also dances regularly as a guest artist with the world’s leading companies, including The Royal Ballet, the Mariinsky Ballet, the Bolshoi Ballet and the Paris Opera Ballet. Early life Bolle was born in Casale Monferrato and lived during his youth in Trino, in Piemonte, a small town near Vercelli. He began ballet studies at age seven at a local school and was accepted at the La Scala theatre ballet school in Milan at the age of twelve. Bolle's pigeon (''Columba bollii'') is a species of the genus Columba of family Columbidae, doves and pigeons, endemic to the Canary Islands, Spain. This bird is named after the German naturalist Carl Bolle, who was the first to distinguish it from the laurel pigeon. This wood pigeon is endemic to the laurel forest habitat. Description Larger than the common pigeon, a length of 36 cm to 38 cm. It is a large dark grey pigeon. At 37–40 cm, it looks like a very dark wood pigeon. Its dark grey, rather than brown, plumage and the dark bands on the grey tail distinguish it from the other pigeon endemic to the Canary Islands, the laurel pigeon. It is a basically dark grey bird, with a pinkish breast. It lacks any white markings, which together with its darker plumage distinguishes it from the other species.
