Zhang Boling
Chang Po-ling (; April 5, 1876 – February 23, 1951) was a Chinese educator who, with Yan Xiu, founded Nankai University and the Nankai system of schools. Biography Chang Po-ling was born in Tianjin in 1876 during the last years of the Qing Dynasty. His younger brother was P.C. Chang, a philosopher and diplomat. He graduated from the Beiyang Naval Academy in 1894. He was a cadet officer in the Beiyang Fleet, but he abandoned his training after the fleet was destroyed during the First Sino-Japanese War. He attended and graduated from Saint John's University in Shanghai. After several years of teaching, Chang Po-ling organized funding for a private college preparatory school, Nankai High School, in Tianjin in 1904. In 1917 he briefly studied at Teachers College, Columbia University in the United States, where he was influenced by the American educator and reformer John Dewey. William Alexander "Alexis" Boling (born May 18, 1979) is an American filmmaker, musician, and founder of production company Harmonium Films & Music based in Brooklyn, New York. He is best known for directing the independent science fiction feature '' Movement and Location'', as well as the music video for indie rock band Vampire Weekend’s debut single "Mansard Roof". Early life Growing up in the Deep South, Boling was involved with plays, photography, and music from a young age. Clint Boling (born May 9, 1989) is a former American football Guard (American football), guard who spent his entire eight-year career with the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Georgia Bulldogs football, Georgia. He was considered one of the top guard prospects for the 2011 NFL Draft. Matthew Boling (born June 20, 2000) is an American track and field athlete specializing in the sprints and long jump. He won four gold medals at the 2019 Pan American U20 Championships in the 100 m, 200 m, 4 × 100 m relay and 4 × 400 m relay, and helped set world under-20 records in both of the relay races for the United States. He also ran in the semi-final for the American team at the 2018 World U20 Championships that went on to earn silver in the final.
