Assam Legislative Assembly, Bolin Chetia is an Indian politician of Bharatiya Janata Party from Assam who is serving as the member of the Assam Legislative Assembly representing Sadiya constituency since 2016 as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and from 2006 to 2016 as a member of the Indian National Congress . He belongs to the Buruk clan of the Chutia community and hails from Barekuri , Tinsukia. The Assam Legislative Assembly is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of Assam. It is housed in Guwahati, the capital city of Assam, geographically situated in present Western Assam region. The Legislative Assembly comprises 126 Members of Legislative Assembly, directly elected from single-seat constituencies. Its term is five years, unless sooner dissolved.
