Bolen Motorsports
Bolen Motorsports was an American professional stock car racing team that competed part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The team fielded the No. 66 Chevrolet Silverado for Jordan Anderson, Ross Chastain, Travis Kvapil, Trey Hutchens, Ken Schrader, Justin Fontaine, Jason Hathaway and Vinnie Miller. Founding Owner Jeff Bolen (a former amateur driver himself) had met driver Jordan Anderson in various levels of racing, including two Camping World Truck Series events in 2015. Bolen contacted Anderson in the 2015 off-season about forming a team together, and they unveiled the team, along with sponsor Columbia, South Carolina (Anderson's hometown), at Darlington Raceway on January 27, 2016. Mooresville is a large town located in the southwestern section of Iredell County, North Carolina, United States, and is a part of the fast-growing Charlotte metropolitan area. 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
The 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was the 23rd season of the third highest stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in North America. The season began with the NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway on February 24, 2017, and ended with the Ford EcoBoost 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 17. Johnny Sauter entered the season as the defending drivers' champion. This was the final season for Brad Keselowski Racing and for Red Horse Racing. Christopher Bell of Kyle Busch Motorsports won the driver's championship with a second-place finish in the season finale, Kyle Busch won the owner's championship for the fifth consecutive season, and Toyota won the manufacturer's championship. Daytona International Speedway is a race track in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States. Since opening in 1959, it has been the home of the Daytona 500, the most prestigious race in NASCAR as well as its season opening event. The NextEra Energy 250 is the first race of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season at Daytona International Speedway and as of 2004 has been held under the lights. It is the Truck Series event of Speedweeks – the series of races leading up to the Daytona 500. Winners of the event include Mike Wallace, Joe Ruttman, Robert Pressley, Rick Crawford, Carl Edwards, Bobby Hamilton, Mark Martin, Jack Sprague, Todd Bodine (twice), Timothy Peters, Michael Waltrip, John King, Johnny Sauter (three times), Kyle Busch, Tyler Reddick, Kaz Grala, Austin Hill, and Zane Smith. 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
The 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was the 22nd season of the Camping World Truck Series, the third highest stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in North America. It was contested over twenty-three races, beginning with the NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway and ending with the Ford EcoBoost 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Johnny Sauter of GMS Racing won the driver's championship with three victories. Toyota won the manufacturer's championship with 14 wins and 32 points over Chevrolet. This was the first year that the truck series (and the Xfinity Series) had a playoff system.
