Boki (; Boki language: ''Bokyi'') is a Local Government Area in the Cross River State of Nigeria. It was created on 28 August 1991, and its capital is Boje. The region has a contiguous border with the Republic of Cameroon and is known internationally as a commercial centre for agricultural commodities such as cocoa, coffee, timber, and palm products. Etymology The origin of its name comes from the native tribe (Boki people) with the same that resides in the area. The term originates from the word Bokyi, which is the name of the tribe in the Boki language although it is also referred to as Nki. Geography Boki is a landlocked Local Government Area of Nigeria (LGA) bounded by the Republic of Cameroon to the east as well as five other Cross River State LGA's: Obudu and Obanliku in the north, Ikom and Ogoja in the West, and Etung to the south. Boki (Hawaiian Chief)
Boki (sometimes Poki, born Kamāuleule) (before 1785–after December 1829) was a High Chief in the ancient Hawaiian tradition and served the Kingdom of Hawaii as royal governor of the island of Oahu. Boki ran a mercantile and shipping business and encouraged the Hawaiians to gather sandalwood for trade. Early life Boki was the son of Kekuamanoha and Kamakahukilani. His father was a chief of Maui and grandson of Kekaulike, King of Maui. He was a younger brother of William Pitt Kalanimoku, but it was rumored that he was a son of Kahekili II. His original name was Kamāuleule ("The one who faints") and his nickname came from a variation of "Boss", the name of Kamehameha I's favorite dog which was a very common name for dogs in Hawaii at the time. Boki Milošević
Božidar "Boki" Milošević ( sr-Cyrl, Божидар "Боки" Милошевић; 31 December 1931 – 15 April 2018) was a Serbian clarinetist. Milošević was born in Prokuplje, Kingdom of Yugoslavia, now Serbia. He completed undergraduate and graduate studies of classical music at the Academy of Music in Belgrade, where he studied with Bruno Brun. He mostly played folk music. He was a member of the Association of Musical Artists of Serbia and was the second clarinetist of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra. Teaching Božidar Milošević was clarinet teacher at the Josip Slavenski School of Music in Belgrade from 1960 to 1968.
