Bojnord County
Bojnord County ( fa, شهرستان بجنورد) is in North Khorasan province, North Khorasan province, Iran. The capital of the county is the city of Bojnord. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 322,309 in 79,882 households. The following census in 2011 counted 365,896 people in 100,900 households. At the 2016 census, the county's population was 324,083 in 94,457 households, by which time Raz and Jargalan District had been separated from the county to form Raz and Jargalan County. Iran Standard Time (IRST) or Iran Time (IT) is the time zone used in Iran. Iran uses a UTC offset UTC+03:30. IRST is defined by the 52.5 degrees east meridian, the same meridian which defines the Iranian calendar and is the official meridian of Iran. Between 2005 and 2008, by decree of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iran did not observe daylight saving time (DST) (called ''Iran Daylight Time'' or ''IRDT''). It was reintroduced from 21 March 2008.
