Bohostice
Bohostice is a municipality and village in Příbram District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 200 inhabitants. Administrative parts The village of Kamenná is an administrative part of Bohostice. Geography Bohostice is located about southeast of Příbram and south of Prague. It lies in the Benešov Uplands. The highest point is the hill Studený vrch at above sea level. It is situated on the shore of the Orlík Reservoir. The highest point is the hill Hřebeny at above sea level, the lowest point is the reservoir level at . The Bohostický Stream flows through the municipality. Along the stream there is the Bohostice Nature Monument, protected due to the occurrence of the dusky large blue. It was declared in 2013. History The first written mention of Bohostice is from 1386.
